Welcome to the Spirit Speak Diaries Blog
“What our ancestors called the ‘Land of the Gods’ we now we call ‘The Subconscious Mind’.”
- Ilene Haykus, Turning Point Hypnotherapy Academy
Imagine that you could ask the big questions – “Who am I?” “What is my purpose?” “What am I meant to be doing with my life?” “Why am I facing these challenges?” and actually get answers. Good answers. Real answers. Answers that ‘ring true’ and you can sense can be trusted. Because they’re not someone elses answers – they’re yours…
Image that there’s someone whose opinion you respect, and is always there for the asking. Yet just as importantly you know that if you get too far off track, loves you enough to call you on your crap and tell you where your blind spots are. Without judgment.
You’ve probably had experiences of hearing surprising wisdom and insight pour out through your own words, amazing both your listener and yourself. It’s at times like these that we’re spontaneously tapped into ‘Spirit’ – the ‘Higher Self’, ‘Super-Conscious’; whatever you choose to call it, its the ‘inner wisdom’ that dwells in us all.
Our ancient tribal ancestors spent a major part of their lives interacting with the inner world; what they then called the ‘Realm of the Gods’. But today this is a lost art in our overly busy, outwardly focused, and suspicious of inner processes world. Most of us now lack the knowledge and techniques necessary for connecting with the deepest aspects of ourselves. And yet most of us have the feeling that something profound is missing, without even knowing what it is…
The purpose of this website is to introduce you to Spiritual Journaling – a writing process with the potential to help you to connect to and create an ongoing relationship with your own ‘Higher Self’ – your own ‘Inner Wisdom’. And through regular practice, to deepen this relationship over time.
These blog posts are near word for word transcriptions of my own Spiritual Journaling with my Higher Self, who I simply call ‘Spirit’. They are meant to function as an example to the type and depth of information possible through the Spiritual Journaling process. New posts are made once a week on Tuesdays. Your comments and questions are welcome. Thank you for being here – I hope you find these writings helpful and inspirational, and that you keep coming back for more.
P.S. These posts are informally written conversations, in a chronological order and sometimes refer back to discussions from previous posts. If you wish to start at the beginning use the ‘Previous Page’ link at the bottom right of The Blog page to navigate, or click here for Post 0001.
